Sound sculptor Trimpin creates music as drops of water, timed in complex rhythmic fugues, drip into plastic buckets & glass jars. The water falls from midi-controlled fruit juice dispensers to create precise rhythms & velocities. The water is infused with a glow-in-the-dark dye to make it more visible.
Trimpin was a Witt artist-in-resident at the UM School of Art & Design in 2008.
