The freshwater crisis is one of the greatest ecological issues of our time. Canadian author, activist, and co-founder of the Blue Planet Project Maude Barlow outlines the causes and dimensions of the crisis and offers a principle-based solution to a water-secure future. Barlow’s books include Blue Covenant: The Global Water Crisis and The Coming Battle for the Right to Water.
A part of the Winter 2011 LSA Theme Semester “WATER”, with support from the School of Public Health, the Center for the Education of Women Frances and Sydney Lewis Visiting Leaders Fund, the Exhibit Museum of Natural History, the Program in the Environment, and the Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute.
