Created in Heidi Kumao’s class Visual Storytelling in Winter 2012, this piece is a response to an assignment to visualize a piece of music. Students were asked to create visuals that complement and/or contrast with the audio; to make images that allow the viewer to hear the sound in a new way, and/or use the sound to make viewers see the visual elements in a new way. This piece is a visualization of “Dripsody” by Hugh Le Caine.
